Amnesia: The Dark Descent was released to PC back on 2010, and launched on consoles a few years later. The first-person survival game was celebrated as one of the best horror games released that year thanks to its creepy environment and gameplay innovations. It’s often cited as one of the best horror games ever made.
Now we’re getting a sequel.
Amnesia: Rebirth was announced with a trailer that looks like we’ll be returning to some more psychological horror. Developed by Frictional Games, who’s last game was SOMA, not much else was given in terms of story, but we can expect the game to launch in Fall 2020 for PC and PlayStation 4. Check out the trailer above.
