Respawn Entertainment has deployed a new patch for its online shooter Titanfall which adds in the ability to play private matches and tweaks various gameplay systems.
The two most notable changes in the patch are the inclusion of private matches and a change to the “Gooser” in-game challenge which lowers the required number of ejecting pilot kills from fifty to five. The private matches are being rolled out in what Respawn calls a “private match beta period.” Private matches can be played with as little as two human players snd have access to all game modes and maps, but do not award XP, challenge progress, or achievements.
The patch is currently live on PC and Xbox One Titanfall servers and is expected to go live on the game’s Xbox 360 version soon. A full list of the patch notes can be found here.
